Introduction

The VacMode website assists customers in gathering travel information, posting reviews, and engaging in travel forums. By accessing VacMode Travels, users expressly agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. VacMode reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice; continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any updates.

Pricing

• All displayed prices are subject to change without notice.
• Prices may be inclusive or exclusive of booking fees, taxes (GST, VAT), hotel taxes, airport taxes, and port taxes.
• Availability changes can affect pricing based on room types, flight classes, and cabin availability.
• Customers are responsible for paying any taxes imposed by government entities, recoverable even after service completion.

Booking & Payments

• Online payments are secure. VacMode does not store card details — card data is captured on the bank's website.
• VacMode acts as an agent for third-party service providers.
• Users agree to waive rights to challenge electronic contracts.
• Bookings must be completed once accepted; users cannot purchase prohibited items.
• For bookings using another person's card, verification documentation is required.
• Fraudulent transactions may result in cancellation and applicable charges.

Amendment to Booking

Amendment terms vary by product and service. Amendments that cannot be completed online may require contacting our customer care team at the number provided.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation charges are applied on a sliding scale based on how far in advance the cancellation is made:

Refund timelines: Air tickets — 30–45 working days; Hotels — 10–15 working days. Peak-season cancellation policies may differ. Customers bear all booking, cancellation, and administration fees.

Delivery of Products & Services

• Hotels: Instant confirmation; vouchers emailed after payment.
• Sightseeing: Instant confirmation voucher with pickup details.
• E-Tickets: Sent via email with unique PNR confirmation.
• Paper Tickets: 3 working days from purchase date.
• Holiday Packages: Minimum 24-hour confirmation; vouchers within 3 working days.
• Car Rental: 4–5 hour confirmation; details via phone and email.
• Travel Insurance: Instant policy issuance via email.

VacMode is not liable for delays caused by Force Majeure events including natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, and radioactive contamination.

Passport, Visa & Health Requirements

Most countries require a minimum 6-month passport validity beyond the travel date. It is the sole responsibility of the individual traveller to ensure complete documentation for visa applications. VacMode assumes no responsibility for visa rejections or denial of entry.

Prohibited Activities

Users of VacMode may not:

• Use the site for commercial purposes without permission.
• Access content using robots, spiders, scrapers, or automated means.
• Bypass access restrictions or violate robot exclusion headers.
• Create unreasonable loads on our servers.
• Deep-link to site portions or frame the website without authorisation.
• Modify, decompile, or reverse-engineer VacMode software.

Liability Disclaimer

VacMode and its affiliates do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim all liability for, any errors or inaccuracies regarding hotel descriptions, pricing, photographs, and product information. All information is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. In no event shall VacMode be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use.

Jurisdiction

Disputes are settled through arbitration before a sole arbitrator appointed by VacMode at Mohali, SAS Nagar (Punjab), under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. The High Court of Punjab & Haryana at Chandigarh and Mohali courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
