Is it safe to pay online on VacMode?+
Yes. All online payments on VacMode are secured by your bank. We do not store your card details β€” your card information is captured directly on the bank's payment gateway, not on our servers.
Can I book for another person using my card?+
Yes, but you will be required to submit verification documentation to confirm the booking. Please contact our customer care team if you need assistance.
What happens if I make a duplicate booking?+
Multiple duplicate bookings for the same travellers are prohibited and may result in cancellation of the additional bookings and liability for any resulting damages.
Are the prices on VacMode inclusive of taxes?+
Prices may be inclusive or exclusive of booking fees, GST, VAT, hotel taxes, airport taxes, and port taxes depending on the product. The final price breakdown is shown at checkout before you confirm.
Can prices change after I view them?+
Yes. All displayed prices are subject to availability and can change without notice based on room types, flight classes, and cabin availability. The price shown at checkout is the confirmed price for your booking.

Cancellation charges apply on a sliding scale:

How long does a refund take to process?+
Refund timelines vary by service type: Air tickets take 30–45 working days; Hotel bookings take 10–15 working days. Refunds are credited to your original payment method only.
Can I get a refund due to a natural disaster or emergency?+
No refunds are applicable for natural calamities, force majeure events, or acts of God regardless of the timing of cancellation.
How do I cancel a booking?+

Who bears the cancellation and administration fees?+
Customers bear all booking, cancellation, and administration fees. These are non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Travel Documents

When will I receive my e-ticket?+
E-tickets are sent via email with a unique PNR confirmation number immediately after payment is confirmed.
When will I receive hotel and tour vouchers?+
Hotel and sightseeing tour vouchers are sent via email immediately upon payment confirmation. Holiday package vouchers are sent within 3 working days after a minimum 24-hour confirmation period.
What ID do I need for check-in at the airport?+
E-tickets require an original photo ID card for check-in. Please carry a government-issued photo ID such as a passport, Aadhaar card, or driving licence.
Are physical tickets available?+
Yes. Physical paper tickets are dispatched within 3 working days of purchase via courier. Delivery times may vary by location.

Does VacMode handle visa applications?+
VacMode can assist with visa information and guidance. However, it is the sole responsibility of the individual traveller to ensure complete and correct documentation for visa applications. VacMode assumes no responsibility for visa rejections or denial of entry.
How long should my passport be valid for travel?+
Most countries require a minimum of 6 months of passport validity beyond your travel date. Please check the specific requirements for your destination well in advance.

Tours & Services

What is a Seat-in-Coach (SIC) tour?+
SIC tours operate on a shared-coach basis with fixed schedules. You may share the vehicle with other passengers and there can be wait times at pickup points. Private tours are available if you prefer dedicated transportation.
Are entrance fees included in tour prices?+
Entrance fees to attractions are not included in tour prices unless explicitly stated. Please check the tour details carefully before booking.
Can I customise a holiday package?+
Yes. Holiday packages can be customised upon request. Contact our team with your preferences and we'll build an itinerary tailored to your needs.
Is VacMode responsible for airline delays?+
No. VacMode acts as an agent for airlines and is not responsible for delays, route changes, or cancellations caused by the airline. Please contact the airline directly for such issues.
